Laurie Jo Wallace shares her insights in response to our questions.
· Something I do to “strengthen my practice”…I listen to young people and build relationships with them. I also try to involve youth in planning and brainstorming projects from the very beginning.
· A person that has inspired me is my 18-year-old daughter who everyday takes chances and risks and remains enthusiastic and curious about the world. She also has a clear sense of what is just and unjust.
· A book, movie or experience I would recommend is “About a Boy” which is a charming, funny and loving story about creating friends and family in our lives.
